e-MTB WarrantyUpdated a month ago
1. Overview
This warranty policy applies to all electric bicycles ("e-Product") purchased from Bonnell Electric Ltd. We are committed to providing quality products and support. This policy outlines the warranty terms for the Product frame, battery, and motor.
2. Warranty Period
The full frame is covered by a two-year warranty for structural defects, commencing from date of delivery to the first owner. This definition does not include paint and graphics.
The battery, motor controller and motor are covered for a one-year warranty for defects, commencing from date of delivery to the first owner. Battery warranty covers defects in materials; normal capacity decrease over time (wear) is not covered unless it falls below 70% of original capacity within the one-year period.
Parts from original component manufacturers, for example Suntour, are also covered for a minimum of one year unless stated otherwise. Claims for issues with these components should be submitted directly to the manufacturer.
The warranty is linked to the e-Product, not the owner. If you’ve bought the e-Product second-hand and it’s within the original warranty period, you are still entitled to make a claim, although you will be required to provide proof of purchase from the original seller.
3. Warranty Coverage
The 775 is designed for recreational use only. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and maintenance. During the warranty period, Bonnell Electric Ltd will repair or replace, at our discretion, any defective components.
You will not be charged for shipping the e-Product component to Bonnell or receiving any replacement product, covered by this warranty. Bonnell will cover labor costs from Authorized Bonnell Retailers in processing approved warranty claims.
PLEASE REFER TO THE DOCUMENTS INCLUDED WITH YOUR BICYCLE FOR POSSIBLE FURTHER RESTRICTIONS.
4. Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
Improper assembly or installation.
Normal wear and tear (including but not limited to tires, brake pads, and chain).

Any e-Product used for racing, rental, competition, commercial applications, or extreme stunts beyond the intended ASTM classification of the bike (unless otherwise specified).
Unauthorized modifications or repairs.
Cosmetic damage, such as scratches, dents, and fading.
Failure to performance maintenance or service at routine intervals and as included in the Owners Manual and other instructions provided with the e-Product.

7. Limitation of Liability
THIS IS A FULL AND COMPLETE STATEMENT OF BONNELL ELECTRIC LTD’S WARRANTY FOR THE PRODUCT. NO OTHER REPRESENTATION OF ANY KIND BY ANYONE SHALL CREATE ANY WARRANTY REGARDING THE PRODUCT. BONNELL ELECTRIC LTD’S LIABILITY UNDER THIS WARRANTY SHALL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW BE NO GREATER THAN THE AMOUNT OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE AND IN NO EVENT SHALL BONNELL ELECTRIC LTD BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES. THIS LIMITATION DOES NOT EXCLUDE LIABILITY FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY BONNELL ELECTRIC LTD’S NEGLIGENCE.
Some states, provinces, or countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or warranties, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply. If it is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction that a certain provision of this Warranty does not apply, all other provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
